The Rhodes Academy has involved some of the world's best minds in its quest for education on maritime law and rule of law at sea. In an event of such proportions, archiving is a challenge. And that's where you, the alumni of Rhodes Academy over the years, come in. Help us chart our story.
Why create a database? Why should I join?
The Institute aims to display the current position of our alumni and how the Academy motivated them. We have been contacted in the past regarding "what comes next". We would like, therefore, to see what came next for you. By doing so, you would assist in the Academy's goal of reaching out so our already rich alumni network expands even further, and more people are motivated to follow the same prestigious program you were once a part of.
What happens if I join the database?
Alumni who choose to be included will receive a form that they can fill in with such data as their name, alma mater, current placement and a short testimonial as to what the Academy meant for them. The data you choose to provide will be publicly available and searchable.
Is it mandatory for me to provide my full name and picture?
Should you choose to solely include your words on the Academy without including your name and/or picture, we will respect your option and simply use initials or another name. We encourage our alumni to use their full names and pictures, as it gives their fellow alumni a chance to reconnect and potential students tangible evidence of the Academy's significance.
Is my testimonial going to be available anywhere else?
Only with your consent. The Rhodes Academy and the Institute's LinkedIn page will feature some select students for a series of posts called Rhodes Academy Student Spotlight.
